My reason for this request is so that I can quickly toggle between different map states with the press of a single button rather than having to use the mouse's scroll wheel and/or dragging around the map itself to a position where I like it.
I believe that this will be useful to have so that I can quickly toggle between different levels of map zoom. For example, by default, I like to keep the main map zoomed in enough to see the location names, while also being zoomed out enough to see a greater area than what is presented on the mini-map, like so:
Now if I decide that I want to spend some time in Zadnor zone 3, I have to set up the map to my liking so I can see what fates are active. The usual process for this is zooming out to max range and then dragging the map to put zone 3 in the middle, which also toggles off "center map to player location. For Frontlines, I have to do the same thing so I can see where new nodes are spawning. Instead of having to do a map setup every time, I would like to be able to recall the main map in the desired state with a hotkey. Ideally, this tweak or plugin will be able to save and recall the various map toggles available in the game along with the level of zoom. Here is an example of what the end result would be after pressing the hotkey:
Addendum: The ability to see gathering nodes on the main map as well would be sweet, but I don't know if that is beyond the scope of what I have suggested above. Not a crucial feature, just nice to have if it can be implemented without much gnashing of teeth.
