[1.17.1] Can't UN-Enable Exosuit slots #1027

I'm a neatnik when it comes to my inventory, so I like to have all the inventory slots together, not separated by blank, unusable spaces. NMSSE is great for that.

But for some reason, I'm not able to remove certain slots, and I've attempted it with both of the .bat files several times now.

The Editor shows they're disabled, I save the changes, and when I go back in-game, the slots I shouldn't have are still available.

Slots that can't be removed: Screenshot 2024-07-22 162124 (Possibly also the 5 slots in the row directly above those, too.) Save game folder: st_76561198040572981.zip

🟢Multi-Tool saves correctly.

🟢Starship Technology saves correctly. 🟢Starship Cargo saves correctly.

🟢Exosuit Technology saves correctly. 🔴Exosuit Cargo, does not save correctly. Slots can be enabled, but not disabled.

I've edited save.hg and save2.hg, alone and together, but the game is still loading the previous, unwanted vehicle cargo setup from somewhere other than the save game file, I guess.

When I edit either save file or both save files, save it/them, close NMSSE, launch NMSSE, load a save: everything looks fine. But the moment I load the saved game— of which there is only one at this time, since I just started playing again a couple days ago —the Exosuit Cargo slots revert back to the starting positions.

I can't get in to test this right now, but if I remember correctly you need to disable the slots AND change the inventory size with the dropdown.

That was a good thought, but that didn't work, unfortunately. I started by making the edits, including changing the Exosuit size, in save2.hg— which NMSSE wants to load by default, in my case, for Slot 1 —then I went into the game and the newly enabled slots are enabled, but those same 4 at the bottom weren't disabled. Tried it again with save.hg and same result: enabled was there; disabled was there.

So, I exited the game and loaded both saves in NMSSE and for some reason they still show the slots as I'd previously set them: enabled are there; disabled are not there.
