Save File Corrupted upon trying to open the save in the editor

just as the title says, i'm playing with a couple of mods, specifically terrain mods, tried to debug it by clearing my save folder entirely and launching the game without any mods and it didn't help

"Save Corrupted" my ass because i can fire those saves up in game and play them just fine, is the save editor just bugging out or me?

• Which platform are you using? steam? ps4?
• Have you been able to edit saves previously?

To help me figure out what the problem is, you need to provide more information. Maybe send a copy of a save file you can't open and I'll check it out?

• Yes i have been able to edit my save files previously on older versions of the game but this time i for some reason just can't get it to work, I have looked at the closed issue thread and it just didn't help at all
