Freeze when opening up PersistentPlayerBases (freighter base) #896

It was working fine a few days ago, but now it would just freeze, it wont open up the freighter base JSON file. I tried leaving it on for more than an hour I thought its just taking longer to load because of the size of the Base but still wont load and I have to force close it via Task Manager because it wont respond anymore

Hello, I would suggest that you download a fresh copy of the save editor to a different directory and re-set the paths. When you open the editor, make sure that you select slot 1 or whichever slot you are wanting to edit. Check that in the save file box it is the one that has the extension of .hg It seems to me from the log that you provided, that it is trying to load a compressed file (ie .zip) instead of the uncompressed game file save. I would also search for backup.1694330279942.zip and cut and paste that file to the desktop (so that you do still have it) and try the editor again. It is quite possible that this file has become corrupted.
