The demo game generates error messages when used with "Simple UI"

Godot 3.5.1 Escoria demo game repo cloned at commit d6158b37

Scenario :

• Clone the demo game's repo
• Open the demo game in Godot
• Open project settings --> plugins
• You see that "9-verb" plugin and "Simple UI" plugin are both available, but 9-verb is ticked
• Untick "9-verb"
• Tick "Simple UI"
• Click "Done"
• Run the demo game

Expected (good) : the demo game is playable, with no errors Observed (bad) : the demo game seems mostly playable, but generates errors when you click around stuff :
