TL;DR: Godot 3.6 release is now almost ready, entering the Release Candidate stage for a final round of testing and bugfixing. It's been a long time in development (Godot 3.5 released in Aug 2022...) but there's a bunch of new features and important fixes which might be relevant to users still using Godot 3.5 in production.
