Issue description

Editor closes right after start. Also, some other games downloaded separately that use mono godot doesn't work.

Steps to reproduce

Run the exe. Exe launches and shows the local projects and ask to open asset library screen. Stays there for a second or two. Then the application closes.

Some extra information is that this only happens with the mono version, the non mono godot loads fine.

The needs testing label means that this bug isn't confirmed until more people can reproduce it. The bug likely occurs on specific hardware/software configurations only, which means it will take a while for someone else to reproduce it. (Note that I don't use Godot Mono myself.)

This is likely an unrelated issue. Please open a separate issue with detailed reproduction steps (and a minimal reproduction project if applicable).

Good day I have run into the same error now, my editor does not crash but when I run my project to test it the application preview in my task bar shows a white window and it does not open.

I have tried reinstalling my graphics drivers, .net and using other versions of Godot that worked previously and I get the same error. The non mono version of Godot works just fine and runs the project.

Previous projects that were made using mono open fine and also run fine when testing after having made changes to the project.

Solved: I did two things 1) Downloaded and selected repair on the dotnet-sdk-6.0.201-win-x64 install. 2) Went into vs code and went to the settings for the c# extension and set the 'Omnisharp: Us Global Mono' from auto to always. The mono errors are still present but the project compiles and runs now.

I have this issue on a standalone build made on Debian, running on Windows. The windows computer does not have the dotnet sdk. (godot v3.4.4.stable.mono.official) I'll try this on 3.5 later.

I am see error immediately when I open godot.cmd file

I am using Window 10, NVIDIA 3080 I also tried in windows 10 virtual machine, it works but not on my real one :( I can give more information if you need anything specific

I finally got it. In this issue they are talking about broken One Drive paths. (One Drive sometime navigates Documents, Videos, Desktop etc your paths to somewhere else, when you remove One Drive, they gets broken and you get a problem from godot xD)
