The need for this should be discussed and verified before tackling - currently receipts are numbered with the id of the corresponding Donation, which allows for easy lookup / mapping between receipt and donation.
It is unclear as to what extra information is made available by generating a different numbering scheme for receipts.
From a technical standpoint, it seems to make sense to remove receipt numbering altogether, since receipts do not actually exist and are instead generated on-demand, and change the text on the receipt to read _Receipt for Donation Number DONATION_ID_
