similar as what we do for information, cube...

it should hide the planes from the 3d view.

NicolasRannou commented 13 years ago

if you only want to see your traces in the 3d view

arnaudgelas commented 12 years ago

Is it somehow equivalent to hide the image? (at the user level)

NicolasRannou commented 12 years ago

no, because in this case, it would only hide it in the 3d view, not the 2d slices

arnaudgelas commented 12 years ago

What would happen in the 2d views? nothing?

NicolasRannou commented 12 years ago

nothing would happen in the 2d views...

arnaudgelas commented 12 years ago

In such a case, would it make any sense to be in quad view? or is it kind of a mode which would be enabled only in a fullscreen 3d view?

NicolasRannou commented 12 years ago

I think this feature should be available in all modes (full screen or not)

arnaudgelas commented 12 years ago

I thought the purpose of this feature is to be able to visualize "only" traces in the 3D view (?) If the purpose is to be able to visualize traces in all views, why showing the image in the 2d view.

This is anyway just a detail, don't need to waste time anymore on this thread. There are more important things, right now.

NicolasRannou commented 12 years ago

it would only be useful in the 3d view but I don't think it's user friendly to have to go to full screen 3d view to be able to use it...
