@ArnaudGelas: Why is the table widget located in the central widget? (instead of the dock windows)

It is not in the central widget, it is in the dock window (top area); and the corner has been set like this. It's not a bug...

AFAIR there are 2 things: the central widget which contains the tab widget and you can have dock widgets in the dock area, and you can also have dock widget inside the tab widget. If I am not wrong the table widget is a dock widget of the tab widget (it was using less room than having the dock widget in the main window).
