Missing variable in email template? #235

Our client just received the following email:

Dear John Doe (Company),

Your current SSL certificate # expires within next 30-days. Please login to the client area and click "Renew" button to start the renewal process.

Kind regards

The email template is completely default:

Dear {$client_name},

Your current SSL certificate #{$serviceid} expires within next 30-days. Please login to the client area and click "Renew" button to start the renewal process.

{$signature}

The $serviceid variable seems to not be present anymore.
