Can you remove it from the example site config though, we want to keep the demo site clean and minimal

People who want to enable can do that via docs

@yashmehrotra Thanks Yash. Adding dateFormat to Configuration (effectively the quick start guide for Gokarna users) was a worthwhile change on its own. I'm going to clean this up in #243.
