lf worse color with catimg #1016

Hi, I'm using catimg to preview image files in lf. The script works fine, but the colors are way worse then when I run it from the command line with the same options. Here is a screenshot (the left one is within lf, the other one is run directly in the terminal): lf-catimg

I'm using tmux in this image, but the same issue is there also when I'm not using it. I'm on Windows 10, WSL with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. I'm using the Windows Terminal I've also tried to add set color256 to my config, but it seems that the option was removed. The value for 'TERM' is "xterm-256color"

Is there something I'm missing?

catimg didn't work well with lf for me too. I suggest using chafa, which does the same, but works quite wll with lf.
