Less mailing lists #25

This wiki page lists 8 different mailing lists. Do we really need all that many?

I think only 3 is enough:

There are hundreds mailing lists inside our similar/elder project, Fedora [1]. However, YES, we should start at less number of ML as possible. In this case, +1 with your proposal. [1] https://lists.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/

I've removed the unnecessary lists from http://wiki.gokien.org/dev:start#communication_channels, but I don't know how to shutdown them on the server.

You need to remove unused mailing list(s)? Or what others? Please list them all here then I can do.

Yes. As discussed above, we only need dev, support, infrastructure. All others on this page should be removed.

Do you want to keep list archives or not?

Also, I think, we should at least keep the announce@ as an one-way list (just some of us can post to the list, all others receive messages) for people to officially keep updates from our project such as releases, development process changes, events, etc.

Agree with announce. About archives, I can see no previous messages.
