Integrating BrowserID seems to be not complicated [1], unless our back-end is written in PHP =) Fortunately, we can apply this one [2] for our new DokuWiki

No reason in particular. It's just that etherpad is so seldom used these days with IRC being the alternative and easier wiki editting.
