Not that I know of. How about sending an email and checking with Netnam? This is a serious problem.

Hi,

Netnam performed their scheduled system backups, so we were not able to access the server yesterday. I checked that it is running normally now.

They should have told us beforehand, shouldn't they? What kind of backup the brings a node down? Downtime is a serious problem.

Hmm, we need to know how those (cold) backups are scheduled: yearly, monthly or... daily? X))

@cmpitg I contacted with Netnam 2 day ago, but I have not received any information from them up to now. I will have a notification to you soon.

IMO, server should be run a weekly backup (cold backup). Any suggestions?

Why the heck does a weekly backup have to be a cold backup? A cold backup means the server needs to be offline. Don't they people know how to maintain a server? Or am I missing something here?

@cmpitg as I said, Netnam could perform a cold system backup few days ago. We should wait for an answer from Netnam.

Read your and my messages again, please. You said they perform cold backup weekly. I don't get your point.
