I think it is useful to have monitors connected to the services in order to automatically place an alert.

In addition to this, when you've linked a monitor to a service to have the option to display it on the status page (similar to the below image) would be amazing

Hi @savez, thanks for the suggestion.

Automatic alerts are on my radar as a future toggleable option. I think we could (optionally) allow monitors to be associated with services, like you've described, and create an alert with some default configurable text. You'd then get a notification this alert has been created and you can provide a more specific update once you have more information to provide.

Does this sound like what you were looking for?
