What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be stupid and create account on pbexes.org with the same name as gmail
account.
2. Download and install sipdroid, choose connect to google voice.
3. Specify the correct password for both gmail and pbxes.org
4. "account exists" error message will appear.
5. Delete pbxes.org account.
6. Wait a few minutes.
7. uninstall sipdroid
8. Reinstall sipdroid.
9. Try creating account again.
10. This time sipdroid will connect with a numerical extension (like
raydude-200) and will connect. Yet cannot login to pbxes.org with account
raydude-200.
11. But, raydude@pbxes.org is back with correct password.
12. Change acount info in sipdroid to raydude and sipdroid can't connect.
13. delete everything and try again. Same Problem.
It looks like sipdroid is getting confused about which account to use when
there's a name conflict. I realize I shouldn't have made an account in the
beginning, but here I am stuck and I can't get it to work.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to connect and give me access to my google voice. No dice.
What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
Latest stable sipdroid on Android Jelly Bean.
Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
pbxes.org. Accounts are FUBAR.
Which type of network are you using?
WIFI
Please provide any additional information below.
