You will:
Collaborate and innovate closely with colleagues from various teams and functions (Product, Search Engineering, SX Engineering, Vertical Engineering) to deliver the optimized, reliable system and experience across all buyer journeys for tens of millions of users every month.
Analyse requirements, design and develop functionalities based on the product requirements.
Build and design scalable and reliable microservices.
Fully involved in the developing process from writing the technical design document to implementing the APIs to be utilized by client engineers.
Work with the infrastructure team on deploying, scaling and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture.
Diagnose and troubleshoot incident and site issues with modern performance monitoring tools.

Experience in Go or similar languages, gRPC, RESTful APIs.
Ability to write clean, maintainable and performant code making use of appropriate design principles and design patterns.
Experience with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. Cassandra, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience in technologies such as Redis, Kafka.
Experience in building large, scalable distributed systems with a good understanding of microservices architecture,
Kubernetes, containers and associated principles.
Experience in optimizing the performance of backend systems and scaling infrastructure components.
Experience in using observability, monitoring, alerting and logging tools such as Kibana, Grafana and Prometheus.
Able to direct the overall design and code architecture for codebases that you and your team works on and constantly works to improve it. Able to write style guidelines for your team to follow.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other equivalent degrees/experience.
3+ years experience in software development.

Experience with TDD/BDD and agile methodologies.
Experience with online classifieds marketplace.
Knowledge of managing data consistency in distributed systems.
Experience working with asynchronous systems.

Carousell 旋轉拍賣是讓網路買賣跟拍照聊天一樣簡單的手機 app。目前已拓展至亞洲的 8 個市場，擁有超過千萬使用者、超過2.5億的上架商品，是全球最大且成長最快速的社群拍賣平台之一。 這個職缺會加入我們的Buyer Experience Team， BX Team的使命是協助買家輕鬆找到他們想買的商品，並且順利的完成交易。只要是買家「逛街」時會經歷過的地方，從首頁 (Home Screen)、分類瀏覽 (Category Browse)、地點篩選 (Location filter)、搜尋條件 (Search Filter)、商品卡片(Listing Card) 到商品頁面 (Listing Page)，都是這個團隊負責的領域。

薪資範圍
1.6～2.8M/年（12個月based） 依經驗與能力面議，另有員工股票選擇權 由於這個職缺橫跨兩個職級，所以薪資範圍比較大，假如違反板規請跟我說～謝謝！
工時/特休
彈性8小時（參考時段：10:00AM ~ 7:00PM，中午休息一小時） 年假14天，有薪病假14天＆一天生日假
工作地點
台北市中山區南京東路一段92號4樓 （靠近中山捷運站） 彈性在家工作，重要會議/活動，才需進公司。
