Windows 7 Window blinks to black on startup #546

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Start the program on Windows 7.

What is the expected output? A program with a GUI.
What do you see instead?
Split second of the GUI with something like an image in it, then black screen, 
no response from window close button or keyboard.

What version of GrafX2 are you using? 
grafx2-2.4.2035.win32.exe

On what operating system? Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

Dont forget to use the labels to mention your Operating system (OpSys-*)
and the version of grafx2 you are using (Milestone-2.0 or Milestone-2.1).
