Two concerns #17

First of all, only several image format supported. Actually, as a 
photographer, we normally use the RAW instead of the JPEG..

Second, still very important information can't be obtained. Such as Lens 
information.

Hi,

Both of these will eventually find their way into the library. The fact that 
the raw 
formats and makernotes (the exif tag containing lens information) are 
proprietary  makes it much harder to write a complete meta data library. But we 
will eventually 
get there. Supporting raw formats are somewhat easier than the makernote (due 
to the 
fact that most raw formats more or less follow TIFF/EP). I am planning to add 
support 
for DNG first (since it is compatible with TIFF/EP) followed by other popular 
raw 
formats.
