Hi, Would it be possible to use BOSS-RUNS for barcode balancing with custom barcodes? Like specifying the barcodes (or adapter + barcode seqs) as targets and the tool will mitigate coverage bias between the barcoded samples?

Hi, Apologies for the very late reply! Unfortunately, this functionality is currently not implemented. Due to technical reasons reference sequences need to be of a certain minimum length (longer than typical nanopore reads). Otherwise internal calculations lead to unexpected results. For now, this is still on our todo list. Thanks and best wishes
