- I've read this before. This book is now public domain because the author died in 1968 and it's been more than 55 years since then. It is more like storytelling in the beginning, but it gets more like a diary towards the end of the book. We can make good use of the latter part of the book because she has many life issues and complaints, as well as solutions sometimes.
