Shadow Man frame rate drops when climbing areas with fire #2681

Hi guys - I'm running the latest QT release on PJ64 1.6.1 - everything works great in Shadow Man apart from when I'm climbing around an area of fire or blood sprites after killing an enemy the frame rate plummets and recovers shorlty afterwards.

It only happens when running full screen mode (stretch) at 1920x1080 - in windowed mode the frame rate is 60fps.

I've tried toggling on/off pretty much every setting I can see - nothing has made any difference. I have maximum power mode enabled in Nvidia settings.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Strange, I thought I was the only one with a poor performance on full screen. Windowed screen is having much better performance in my case also. That's one of the reasons to see this implemented: https://github.com/gonetz/GLideN64/issues/2518

In any case, I think it would be helpful if you post your system settings "Cpu, graphics card, ram, os, etc"

PS: I assume you are also 1920x1080 on windowed mode, right? Because if you have 1280x720 for example, it takes sense that you have better performance on windowed mode.
