Weird bug – Not displaying blue but only when using "paint" overlay? #2829

Emulator: RMG v0.5.8 (latest) Game: Rocket - Robot on Wheels (USA) Context: In the area Paint Misbehavin', there is a location with three pools of paint: one with red paint, one with yellow paint, and one with blue paint. You move into a pool and, voilá, your character is now covered in that color paint. Issue: You jump in the blue paint, and your character is covered with pinkish paint, not blue paint. (See screenshot below.)

Note: I don't know if this is an issue with GLideN64, but I asked in the support Discord for RMG and they said it certainly looked like it and recommended I post a bug report, so here I am. That being said, any information you need just ask because I wasn't sure what info to put in this description. So, sorry if I failed to provide some critical information.

So, it seems to be an issue with the CPU emulator for RMG, not GLideN64, since the issue goes away if I switch it from Dynamic Recompiler to Cached Interpreter.

So.......I guess issue's over. Go home. :P

Can you try this core? Rename your mupen64plus.dll and replace it with the one in mupen64plus-core-msys2-x64-gb19279d.zip.

Or at least upload a savestate before triggering the bug, preferably with Pure Interpreter.

I'm not gonna lie. I am no expert in this matter. The only reason I said it seemed to be the CPU emulator is because one of the main devs for RMG told me it seemed to them to be the case. That core you linked to, and the concept of adding it to my not-portable installed version of RMG, is way beyond my skills. I'd do it if you walk me through it, but I'd be afraid of borking up my install of it. Lol.
