Noto Sans Sinhala broken on chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Chrome 32.x on OSx 10.10.x
2. Latest  Noto from google code repo
3. Using http://www.impallari.com/testing

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

So I can not use Noto Sinhala from Google Fonts because of this. But it is not 
just a Noto bug it seems. Maybe Chrome on OSx is broken

Thanks for the report.  Can you please report the following two situations:

  - Does it work in Safari?

  - Can you try with Chrome 40 beta please?  That version and later versions use HarfBuzz, which should result in the same behavior as Firefox.

- Works in Safari
- Yep, works in Chrome 40 Beta :)

So it is a problem with rendering?

Ok, that it works in Safari is rather surprising.  But at any rate, if it works 
in Chrome 40 Beta, then there's not much else to do for us :).
