Hide keyboard when using bluetooth keyboard #385

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have the setting enabled to show soft keyboard when no hardware keyboard is
present, however the soft keyboard persists on-screen.

What is the expected behavior?
Keyboard should not be visible if hardware keyboard is being used. Anykey
supports this by hiding the keyboard on first keypress from hardware.

What version of Hacker's Keyboard are you using? 1.33
On what phone or tablet? Galaxy Note 10.1 with Bluetooth keyboard

I have the same problem :/

The soft keyboard always shows up regardless if the option "Show soft keyboard"
has a checkmark or not.

Makes me have to press escape each time the keyboard pops up or to change my
favorite android keyboard!

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3
Android: KitKat / 4.4.4
Hacker's keyboard version: 1.37.1419
Input: bluetooth / Logitech Tablet Keyboard
