When an app has too many menu labels like gimp and it can go past the center of the top bar, the labels are shown as "text....." and squeezed together so it can fit on the left side of the bar but the "true" buttons are still hover-able by the cursor and can be clicked.
Steps to reproduce the problem
on Gnome Shell, use an app with a long menu bar like GIMP on a smaller resolution display (I'm using 1366x768).
Expected behavior.
Menu labels go past the center of the bar.
btw i use a gnome extension to move the clock to the left
