The new Play Music broke many apps including the Motorola Voice Commands which
is very important for Bluetooth users. I had to uninstall the latest updates
because of this.

I have changed the way i use music in the car. Posted about it here:

I no longer find value in launching a specific playlist. You end up listening
to the same thing over and over. The new Google Music instant mix or Listen
Now really works the best. This is like a Pandora station. Same use case with
Pandora actually. Just have your station selected before you get in the car.
Have A2DP Volume start the app you want (Google Music or Pandora) but not a
playlist or station. Just start the app. When your car connects, the app will
launch and be in the foreground which means the Bluetooth Music controls will
control that app. Now just click the play on your Bluetooth control.
