Downloading of multiple songs to the android device at once #55

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Squeezer has the ability to download single songs to the android device, which
is awesome because I can select files to play/prelisten and then download the
files to my android device for listening to on the go.
At the moment, I have to select every single file though and I would really
love to be able to just use a download function on a
playlist/folder/album/artist.

This would eliminate my need to connect my phone via usb entirely.

Hi, downloading multiple songs works great in the current beta version. They
are automatically added to the Music folder.
But sadly Androids database is not updated, so you have to reboot the device to
play the files. As alternative I've used
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.jerickson314.sdscanner
to update the database. Maybe this could be implemented for the Music folder?

And could also the album cover artwork be downloaded to the album folder and
saved as cover.jpg?

We've got a fix ready which updates the Android database with the downloaded
files. This will go into the next release. Thanks for the feedback, it's
appreciated.

About the missing cover art, please add that as a separate issue, so we won't
forget it, thanks.
