What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

it would be great if there was an option to play media thats on the phone to
the xbox and
also transfer pictures to and from both devices ?

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?

Which XBMC revision are you running running and on on which platform?

Streaming to the phone still does not work (but u know that).

Great feature anyway, would make XBMC solution the best ever seen ;)

This

http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=694775&postcount=8

could be a simple alternative in the meanwhile.

A comment on DLNA: As far as I know, there are no apps for DLNA that work on
Cupcake. I know, I am a sad sad Android user for being stuck with Android 1.5.
I'll get out ASAP, but in the meanwhile, having such respectable software as
the XBMC Remote available for Cupcake gives us sad sad users a breath.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place but I would really like to be able to
use this to stream to a Dlna TV. I assume this would be similar to streaming to
a phone it would really enhance xbmc IMO.

Definitely a feature that I'd like to see. More so for music rather than
movies. The current solutions for music are not so elegant as just running
this app and clicking a stream to device button. Music can be easily buffered
over a 4G connection as well.
