What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open XBMC Remote
2. Look at bottom of main screen
3. Name of connected XBMC Remote does not display anywhere on the screen
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To display the name of the XBMC box that you are currently connected.
Currently showing the version of XBMC instead.
What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
0.8.6-beta1
Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Samsung Captivate using standard Samsung Froyo build
Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
XBMC 10.1 Dharma via Ubuntu Natty
Please provide any additional information below.
I am sure I am not the only person running multiple XBMC instances throughout
their house. When changing rooms, I do change the remote over to run the other
instances I have running when I sit down to use that computer. However, it
would be nice to have the remote display what machine it is currently connected
to. There have been times when I put my phone down for a while and pick it
back up, I will forget I have it connected to another machine instead of the
one in front of me. It would be nice to have the remote display the name of
the XBMC instance that is selected to control on the main menu next to the
version.
