What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download banners for TV shows
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected would be to see the banners for TV shows, same as on my XBMC box.
However, banners do not show. When retrying to download them, remote reports 0
banners downloaded.
What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
Latest, 0.8.8-beta1
Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Galaxy S GT-I9000, MIUI V4 for i9000

issue occurs with several kernels.
Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
XBMCbuntu 11.0
Please provide any additional information below.
I do not remember exactly when this issue started occurring. I had been using
ICS ROMs for a while and this issue has only started occurring a month or two
ago.
