An unsuccessful attempt to connect to XBMC will mute the sound #638

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set up new host with IP in remote app using the 'wizard'
2. Ensure HTTP server is switched on in XBMC, but Eventserver is not (in XBMC 
11)
3. Attempt to validate the Eventserver connection.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The XBMC instance becomes muted (red volume icon in top-right corner), and 
despite raising the volume level back to normal, the icon persists. It was 
eventually removed by pressing the '+' key.

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?

0.8.8-beta1, Revision 808

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Xperia Arc, AOKP ROM

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
v11 (Eden), Windows 8 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
