I second this. Chrome to phone is so useful, but I'm always logged in to my
Google Apps account. Switching back and forth between my rarely used GMail
account makes this far less useful.

I'm not sure reader, picasaweb or checkout support non-migrated Google Apps
accounts.
Chrometophone does support migrated Google Apps accounts - we should clarify
the message, only the 'old style' Google Apps accounts don't work.
If you have an account that works with reader/checkout/etc and doesn't work
with c2p - please provide the details.

I believe I have a "migrated" Google Apps account - is there a definitive way
to tell? I recall a while ago seeing a message or possibly an e-mail from
Google explaining how my Google Apps account would now behave as a Google
account. I can (and do) use reader, as well as checkout. When I try to
register Chrome To Phone on my Google Apps account, I receive an error "Error:
Google Apps accounts not supported" after clicking the Next button.
I'm happy to provide any other details that may be necessary.
Thanks,
Jim

is there any plan to integrate with google apps accounts?

I just migrated my apps account, and when i tell chrome to phone to use my
freshly migrated account, it still says it can't use an app account. According
to the comment posted on dev 19th 2010 from cos..@google it sounds like a
migrated app account is supposed to work. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the
app on both chrome and my phone - no effect.

Andrew,
Check that your account actually migrated. If you already had a Google account
with the same address, the migration may have stopped while you sort out the
conflict. If it did in fact migrate, then it may take some time (maybe a day?
I'm not entirely sure) for the app to recognize that it's a Google account.

ji...@jimbotech - i'm guessing your comment was aimed at me and not at andrew.
If so, my account does appear to be migrated. It says so in the app dashboard,
plus i can log on with my google app login at the regular gmail login. Plus now
my phone shows up on market.android.com - it didn't until the migration came up
as complete.
I'll wait another day and see if the app figures out my account has been
migrated. Currently, i think it's been about 18 hours since it said my account
migration was complete.
Thanks

Waited another day but it still won't let me signed in with my migrated
account. Any suggestions?

I think i can confirm that the issue is either with the app, or with android
itself.
As a test i factory wiped my phone, added back in my transitioned apps account
and installed the chrome to phone app. And it successfully connected using my
app account.
So at this point i'm guessing that either the app itself is caching something
somewhere which is indicating my app account is still a non-migrated account.
Or that android itself has cached something. I tried to test this by removing
my app account from the phone, but it wont let me saying that it's needed by
other apps.
So any ideas how to work around this issue, other then wiping my phone? That
seems like a bit of an extreme fix just to get one app working.
Thanks

4 years later, and this still doesn't work?
Well, I'm assuming if the app crashes when I press next after selecting my
account, it's not working...
