[TalkBack] no indication of Progress bars #187

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the play store
2. Download or update any application, or send a file over bluetooth, anything
which has a progress bar

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Back on Android 4, at least on Sony ROM, when I did these tasks Talkback would
use the scrolling tones to indicate where the progress bar is, very much like
the open-source NVDA screen reader on Windows. Unfortunately, this seems to no
longer happen on Jellybean. I do believe we would hear those sounds if an app
would put a progress bar in the status bar, but I could be wrong on that.
Either way, this was rather useful, since if You'd update multiple apps at once
in the play store you would know how far one app's download is.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Talkback 3.3.0 beta 2 on Sony Xperia pro, running cyanogenmod 10 Android 4.1.2.

Working as intended. Progress bars only provide feedback when they are focused.

Hi,
OK. In that case, I have a question. How do you focus them? I have a
feeling they might not be exposed at the moment.
I was sending a large file over bluetooth minutes ago. You said that
you have to focus the progress bar. SO I opened the status bar and
tapped on the bluetooth icon, and while talkback did read out the
percentage, I wasn't getting any sounds afterwards.
Maybe have an option to allow for indicating progress bars in the
background?
