Open archives as a directory #131

Now, archive is opened by external aplication (File roller, ARK, ...). It will 
be great to open archive file as a normal directory structure.

GVFS can solve this feature and maybe much more (FTP or SFTP support).

Thanks for filing this feature request. This is already planned and scheduled 
to be implemented soon. We've prepared file list plugin to handle any sources 
including archives.

Temporary solution: Commands -> Edit commands Add command "7z a %d.zip %m &" - to pack the selected files in the archive with the same name as the folder
