thumbnail won't show on mouseover #316

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. well I just installed it
2. tried to turn fast media preview on and off but doesn't help
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
in list view upon mouseover on an image thumbnail shows

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.1a-56 on ubuntu 12.10

Please provide any additional information below.
I like the app :)

That's strange. Did you install anything? More specifically python-gnome2 
package?

there were updates to ubuntu and I think I have seen python in it.
