Device specifications for mediapipe to run on Web, Android and iOS

I am looking for the minimum configuration requirements to run MediaPipe effectively on Android, iOS, and Web devices. Could you please provide details on the following for each platform?  Hardware Specifications:  CPU RAM Storage GPU (specific brands or models, if any) Software Specifications:  Minimum OS version Required dependencies or libraries Minimum browser versions for Web Additional Information:  Performance benchmarks, if available Optimization recommendations for lower-end devices Thank you!

Could you please provide any examples of the lowest-end devices on which MediaPipe has been successfully used? Additionally, have you encountered any devices where MediaPipe did not work due to hardware limitations? If so, could you share those specifications?

Hi @JhansiPyla28,

Apologies for the delay in our response. Currently, we lack the necessary data because MediaPipe's different Task APIs—such as Vision, Text, Audio, and Gen AI—each require specific environments. For example, Gen AI tasks need a real device with newer processors, while some Vision, Text, and Audio tasks cannot run on emulators or simulators. Based on discussions with our team, documenting this is currently challenging due to limited bandwidth. However, we can mark this issue as a feature request and share it with the team, though it may not be available soon.
