Hello,

Sorry for my long absence.
The library was indeed overdue for a dependency upgrade, thank you for taking the time to doing it.
While GitHub Actions could not test it because of CI secrets not being passed to Actions triggered by forks, I can confirm that all tests are passing when run manually on my machine.

Thank you for the contribution, and you can expect a new release on crates.io very shortly.
