icon change with ARCore #612

Dear all,

I am developing some Applications with ARCore. I found i could not change the icon of application. I tried with a clean new scene using ARcore in Unity3D, but the icon is always the default one. it might be a problem of Unity ? or some scripts of ARCore ?

It can be done using Unity3D. Please follow the steps below.

1) Open Unity. 2) Select the File Option on the toolbar. 3) Select the Build Settings under that. 4) A dialog box appears, Please choose Player Settings at the bottom left. 5) In the inspector, there is an option as Default Icon, by default, it is None, you can drag and drop the texture(Picture) in it.

You can deploy and test the icon of the application.

Hav you tried this solution with Arcore? Does not work as you described. I ha developed many app using customized app before with Unity. But with Arcore, it does not work woth default icon in build setting.

Which version of unity you are working with?

wired, i do have exactly the same version as you, but Default Icon does not work at all.

I have the same issue, ARCore overrides the icon that I put in Payer Settings.

I found the solution: Just delete the existing icons then yours is going to be taken.

I have no idea why.

I've did that, but after using my icon, camera view becomes black. It's weird.

?? Really?? Never got this problem while using my icon. Are you under MacOS?

No, on Windows, tested on Android. I think I managed it to work, but in any way such things aren't supposed to happen, icons glitches + icon related camera view lost...
