After i get into the setup, i get my user/password but then everything gets 
this error while 
displaying.

Which webserver are you using? and on what platform?

XAMPP on Mac OS.
I can get into the setup of account but after i cant do anything.

In Chromium displays the error, in safari just "Safari can’t open the page."

Are you using lifepress-0db3178943.zip? or a recent pull?

I can confirm that both of these snapshots are in working order (I just 
installed them 
both myself on Ubuntu with Apache)

This is definitely an issue though, we seem to have trouble installing on 
non-apache 
servers.

XAMPP is based on Apache...

I was able to run Lifepress von a XAMPP installation on Windows. That was with 
issue 
#12 http://code.google.com/p/lifepress/issues/detail?id=12. But I think your 
problem is 
something with the configuration.
