er&action=edit&oldid=393951059 .  This page has references with embedded HTML 
comments.  The issue is that the regex used to populate currentScan does not 
attempt to handle embedded angle brackets.  A possible work-around may be to 
use a lazy quantifier instead, similar to 51c5f/c886b.

This is still a major issue: there are several bots which deal with references 
and leave explanatory comments behind. Such comments are simply invisible to 
ProveIt.
