Feature Request: setting open in new window, expand/collapse all, delete entries per feed, tagging #6

hi Tobias,

First off, thanks for a nice, functional RSS reader. I've been using it for
almost a week now and am pretty happy with it. Here are a few [simple]
features I've found myself wishing rsslounge had:

1. Settings Menu: Open articles in separate tabs/windows. Currently you
need to right/middle click an article to avoid loosing your rsslounge tab

2. Button to expand/collapse all feed articles in the main reading pane
(perhaps next to the "unstarr all" button?). Currently you need to click on
each article title to expand it for reading. This would be useful to
quickly skim all articles and decide whether to use the "mark all as read"
button.

Features I'd like to have but can live without:

3. Delete entries older than: Make this customizable per-feed. Some of my
feeds are very active (e.g. bbc or slashdot), others only get updated every
few months.

4. Allow articles to be tagged (Perhaps next to the star button?) This
would also allow browsing feeds in "virtual categories" by tag name.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
rsslounge-1.2 on ubuntu hardy

Thanks again and all the best,
dent

Hi dent,

thank you very much for the feedback. I will take your suggestions in further
versions. Especially the first one would really make sense!

Best regards
 Tobi

window"

Number 1 would be nice, but number 2 is critical to me. If you have many items
to go
through, you read, you really need to be able to just skim read the page by
scrolling
down. Having all items collapsed means that instead of skimming content quickly
you
have to individually click Every. Single. Item.

Other than that, rsslounge is slick, sexy and beautiful. Thanks for all your
work on it!
