please i do not have a keyboard, i have a tablet.

Could you put some buttons on screen to scroll page up and down + maybe some
buttons to go to next and previous page !!!

THAT WOULD BE SO GREAT !

Thank you for your nearly perfect app.

:-)

Good day!
It is a very good enhancement!
How is realized in Coolreader for Android (I get all best functions from
different readers, and want it realize at APV), at settings (Options), screen
divided at sections, and you can set each touch area for different functions
(size, page up, page down), any section, as you wish. Very good idea!
Oleg.

I almost always just use the volume buttons for scrolling.

It was just a enhancement.
The first reason, that I started to use APV - it is volume scrolling.
But it will be comfortably to scroll by touch at the right side of screen.
This is not a necessary thing, but would be good (maybe for the future).

I use an android tablet (android 1.5 !) and the volume buttons do not work for
page scrolling.

Thank you.

May be in next release ?

I am surprised they don't work. They should. In the APV options, what do you
have the volume keys set to do?

I have 'page with volume keys' set to ON.
I tried to activate, deactivate and reactivate it with no luck, this option
does not work on my tablet (archos 7ht with android 1.5, please don't laugh
;-), i love it).

When i press the volume keys the volume goes up or down, not the page, sorry.

I have tried to implement the buttons myself within your code but i could not
figure out how to compile it within eclipse. I am confused with the APV code
and the test code and how they are related, i am not a pro obviously :-).

I may give it another try.

Many thanks.

In the current dev version, instead of a "page with volume keys" option, there
should be a drop-down list of various things that can be assigned to the volume
keys. Can you try 0.3.1dev11?

And in the 0.3.1dev12 version, there is an option to page by tapping the
top/bottom halves of the screen.

Will tell you soon...

Thank you for all your efforts to make it perfect.

There are so many new options, great.

The volume buttons still don't let me scroll page up or down ! I know this is
my device which is so outdated.

I can now flip page with a long click on zoom buttons :-)

For the 0.3.1dev12 version the tap option on top/bottom halves of the screen is
a bit akward, it only scrolls 1 pixel or so (at least on my old device).

Apart from that the scrolling is smoother than it was.

Thank you all for your hard work.
