Search then sort - losing search scope #173

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for something in BibApp
http://connections.ideals.illinois.edu/search?q=book

2. Sort the (35) results by Year, Descending

3. Now you're seeing (3474) results.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see 35 sorted results.
