Thank you for raising this issue. In the near future a new report will be added
that produces a list of references for a given taxon (optionally including the
references of child taxa). The exact nature of this report is currently being
worked out, but it is agreed that it will be a very useful addition.
The "use in reports" checkbox was actually added to support some external web
functionality particular to the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC),
and you are correct, it currently has no effect in the BioLink application
reports. When the new report is added, whether or not the "use in reports" flag
will probably be, at this stage be, an optional setting of the report itself
(i.e. a checkbox on the report settings "Only include references marked with
'Use in Reports'", or something along those lines.
Does this sound like it might meet your needs?
Cheers, David.

Dear David,

Thanks a lot for the quick answer.
The problem now is that there is no way to have a listing of literature for a
taxon, even if it is in theme "predefined reports" or in "query tool" or in
"export".
I found some bugs in " Taxon explorer " but before analyzing them, don't you
have a test file to learn the various names used in Biolink? (examples of
literature name or "how to" abberation, morpha, natio, synonyms, nomen novum,
oblitum...)
Best Regards

It would be interesting to have a group "References" with all the fields
reporting to it in the query tool.
