New URL:

Where in the process did you encounter an error?

Describe the error:

With my personal website/blog I was able to change from ftp hosting to
custom domain hosting just fine. When I tried to migrate a clients domain
all of her pictures were lost. What is the easiest way to get the pictures
back? They are still on my old web hosts server I imagine. If I have to
reset the DNS on my web host get the pictures then re-migrate to custom
domain hosting with blogger I will do that. I just wish there was an
easier way as with my personal account it was automatic. I did try to use
the migration tool and there in lied the problem I believe. I should have
just clicked the settings plublish and custom domain link without touching
the migration tool at all.

Thank you,

Curt

You can try this:

http://www.documentroot.com/2010/03/how-to-fix-bloggers-ftp-bug.html

It works very well for people who don't want to go through the process of
migration, or
who want to keep their original URL, images, or script features.
