I also received the error "There was a problem updating your FTP server. Click
here
to download a ZIP file archive of you blog, which you can manually upload to
your
FTP host." I downloaded the ZIP file archive, then uploaded it to my FTP
server.
It's visible on the FTP file listing, but when I return to the FTP Migration
Dashboard and resume, it takes me to the "Redirect FTP blog" with the error
still
displayed. http://terrenceberres.com/ to http://www.berres.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the info.
You can manually update your old blog with the correct redirect information
by downloading a ZIP file of the blog, and then uploading it to your FTP
host. This will bring the correct ‘rel = canonical’ and ‘meta refresh’
info
into the blog. Download the ZIP file from the following link:
http://www.blogger.com/export-as-zip.g?blogID=[YourBlogID]
Of course, making sure that you swap your blog’s unique blogID in for the
placeholder. You can get your blogID by searching for ‘blogid’ your
blog’s
page source.
If you have problems during this step, please contact your FTP Hosting
provider and they will be able to help you upload/unzip the file.
To verify that everything updated correctly, simply search your old blog’s
page source after updating, and you will know that all is good if you see
the following info at the top:
<head><link rel="canonical" href="[New Blog URL]" />
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="30;url=[New Blog URL]" />
