Where in the process did you encounter an error?
During migration

Describe the error:
My ftp blog, did not migrate the comments from my old ftp blog. It acts as 
if there were no comments on any of my posts.

I would love somebody to find a solution to this!

Still no change - about two days after the migration - still no comments have 
come
over. :-( Any help is greatly appreciated

I simply deleted the "migrated" blog, which had no comments, and uploaded a 
saved 
version of my blog, with comments. Unfortunately, the (30 second automatic) 
links 
to  my new blog, from the old, now do not work.

Just checked and the link in the line "You will be automatically redirected in 
30 
seconds, or you may click here." seems to work fine. 

The 30 second redirect also works fine.
